There are specialised websites such as the Help Desk of the EU or websites about trade fairs, conferences and virtual markets (trading platforms).

It has been said that 2010 is a year full of events for VIETCRAFT. Besides facing difficulties to organize the Vietnam International Home Decor & Gift Fair, VIETCRAFT has also been receiving many invitations to participating different international trade fairs.

In the coming up November 2010, the Vietnam Handicraft Exporters Association (VIETCRAFT), with supports of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) and Asean Japan Centre (AJC), will exhibit Vietnamese handicraft products in Tokyo – Japan. Preparing for this event, Vietcraft will select some enterprises and their typical products right after the international fair LifeStyle Vietnam (www.lifestyle-vietnam.com); in the meantime, the Asean Japan Centre (AJC) will invite Japanese customers coming to this fair.

Despite being organized for the first time, but with the professional and strategic marketing activities, the number of custumers interested in the International Fair LifeStyle Vietnam was strongly increased. Among many international corporations registered as visitors, Ito-Yokado corporation was the biggest trade visitor with its annual income of 16 billion USD (equivalent to 25% of the export turnover of Vietnam).

On the first of March, 2010, Mr Ho Quoc Phi – the chairman of Vietnam Economic – Cultural Office in Taipei sent an official letter No. 10/VECO-TV on “Establishing Taiwan buyers group to visit LifeStyle Vietnam 2010” to Ministry of Trade and Industry (Vietnam Trade Agency).

Vietnam Handicraft Exporters Association (VIETCRAFT) and Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) have prepared for 3 years for LifeStyle Vietnam 2010. This fair is under National Trade Promotion Programme approved by Minister of Trade and Industry on Decision 0221/ QĐ-BCT, 14/01/2010.

For advertising LifeStyle Vietnam 2010 to local enterprises and international importers, Vietcraft is going to organize Press Conference on “Introduction about LifeStyle Vietnam 2010”. The conference is going to be held on the second floor in Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency building – 20 Ly Thuong Kiet, Hanoi.

Vietnam is well known in South East Asia for its diversified production of handicrafts, furniture and gifts. Nearly 4,000 small and medium entreprises are working in these sectors. Vietnamese handicraft and furniture products are being exported all over the world.
